The C15 Medic Inhaler contains 8% medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, and long-term inhalation safety data are limited. Because oily aerosols may present a theoretical risk of respiratory irritation or lipoid pneumonia, clinicians should use caution, prescribe the lowest effective dose, and discontinue treatment if new respiratory symptoms arise.

Use is not advised in patients with significant chronic respiratory disease. High-dose use is not recommended pending further safety data (e.g., >50 actuations/day).
